月初めに入寮となる場合、¥40,600（内訳：寮費¥35,000＋共益費¥5,000＋チーム費300＋通信費200＋維持費100）を入居当日にお支払いいただきます。 月途中の入寮の場合、寮費が一泊¥1,100として日割り計算されます。共益費等¥5,600はひと月分かかってきます。（例：4月10日入寮の場合、寮費￥1,100×21泊分＋¥5,600＝4月分寮費¥28,700）

If you move into the dormitory at the beginning of the month, you will be required to pay ¥ 40,600 (dormitory fee ¥ 35,000 + common service fee ¥ 5,000 + team fee 300 + communication fee 200 + maintenance fee 100) on the day of move-in). If you move into the dormitory in the middle of the month, the dormitory fee will be calculated on a daily basis as ¥ 1,100 per night. Common service fee, etc. ¥ 5,600 will be charged for one month. 各居室にはベッドフレーム・マットレス・デスク・チェアー・クローゼットが備え付けられています。カーテン・布団は個人での持ち込みになりますので、ご準備ください。 共有のキッチンには電子レンジ等の家電製品、鍋や食器類は一通りそろっています。必要に応じて、個人でご準備ください。各居室に小型の冷蔵庫を持ちこむことも可能です。 また、部屋にはテレビが接続可能です。洗濯機は無料で使用可能です。洗濯用洗剤は個人で用意してください。

Each room is equipped with a bed, mattress, desk, chair and closet. Please prepare your own curtains, sheets and blankets. The shared kitchen is equipped with household appliances such as microwave ovens, refrigerator, pots and tablewares. Please prepare individually if you need such appliances in the room. In addition, a TV is placed in the lobby, however if you need one in the room then that can also be connected. The washing machine is placed in the basement and is free to use. Please bring your own laundry detergent.

保証人・身元引受人はともに国内に居住し、独立した生計を営むもの、と定められています。国籍は問いません。その違いは、保証人は主に家賃の保証をしていただく方、身元引受人は緊急時に寮生の引き取り責任（緊急に入院する場合など）を負う方となっています。

It is required that both the guarantor and emergency contact person live in Japan and have an independent livelihood. The nationality of both the guarantor and emergency contact person does not matter. The difference is that the guarantor is mainly the person who guarantees the rent, and the emergency contact person is the person who is responsible for taking over the dormitory student in an emergency (such as when hospitalised urgently, etc).

京都大学生の場合、京大生協で手続きをしてください。入寮前であっても契約可能な保険会社もありますが、入寮後の手続きでも結構です。（その場合は、入寮後速やかに手続きをお願いします。） 京都国際学生の家が特定の保険会社を斡旋することはありませんので、その他の大学の場合も個別に保険会社にお問い合わせください。

If you are a Kyoto University student, please complete the procedure at the Kyoto University Co-op. Some insurance companies can make a contract even before you move into the dormitory, but you can also complete the procedure after moving into the dormitory. (In that case, please complete the procedure immediately after moving into the dormitory). The Kyoto International Student’s House does not arrange a specific insurance company, so please contact the insurance company individually for other universities as well.

We currently only accept applications in spring and fall.

入居・退去時には事務手続きが必要ですので、事務室開室時間（9：00～16：00）のお引越しをお願いします。ただし、飛行機の予定等によってはご相談頂ければ配慮します。

Since administrative procedures are required when moving in or out, please do it during the office hours (9: 00-16: 00). However, depending on the schedule of the flight, we can consider the timings if you can consult with us.

京都国際学生の家では全室無線wifiが利用できます。（寮費の内、月々200円を通信費として請求します。）

Wireless wifi is available in all rooms at Kyoto International Student’s House. (200 yen will be charged monthly as communication fee which is included in the dormitory fee)

京都国際学生の家の寮費は当月払い（ただし電気料金・イベント参加費は前月分を清算）です。 毎月末に寮費の請求書をお渡ししますので、寮費は10日までにお支払いください。現金もしくは振込（手数料はご負担ください）でお支払いください。

The dormitory fee for the Kyoto International Student’s house is paid for the current month (however, the electricity fee and event participation fee is from the previous month). We will give you an invoice for the dormitory fee at the end of every month, so please pay the dormitory fee by the 10th of the following month. Please pay by cash or bank transfer.

京都国際学生の家では、月に2回ほど公式イベントが開催されます。寮生の親睦を深め、地域の国際交流に貢献するため様々なイベントがあり、寮生は全員が何らかの当番としてイベントの企画・運営を担って頂きます。 イベント実施にあたっては、ハウスペアレンツはじめ、先輩寮生たちが協力します。 それ以外にも学生が行う非公式のイベントも不定期に開催されます。

Official events are held twice a month at Kyoto International Student’s House. There are various events to deepen the friendship of the dormitory students and contribute to the international exchange of the region, and all the dormitory students are responsible for planning and managing the events with some kind of duty. Senior dormitory students, including House Parents, will cooperate in conducting the events. Other unofficial events are also held by students throughout the year.

京都国際学生の家には、「ハウスペアレンツ」と呼ばれるご夫婦・ご家族が寮生とともに居住しています。生活で困ったことや悩みがあればご相談ください。このハウスペアレンツ制は創立当初からの伝統です。

At Kyoto International Student’s House, married couples or a family called “House Parents” live together with the dormitory students. Please feel free to contact them if you have any problems or worries during your stay. House parent system has been a tradition since its opening.
