Cooking event, 7th Dec 2019
On 7th dec 2019 we held a cooking event at our dorm. This event was one of its kind and a very unique one in HdB. As a resident of HdB we invited Japanese families to our dorm to participate in cooking event. This event was solely focused on promoting the idea of learning different food culture across the globe. For this particular cooking event we choosed Indian cuisine to explore. As you all know how rich India is when it comes to food culture. India has given spices to the world and in order to keep that in mind we tried to keep our menu accordingly for this event. Total of 7 families joined us along with their kids. Many residents also participated in the event. We learnt how to make mutton tikka and also learnt how to make chapati with wheat flour. It was so much fun to see small kids doing all the efforts whole heartedly. Patents were also very supportive and were helping their kids to learn new things. We also had a short presentation about India. And a small quiz about India in between. Atmosphere was very cheerful and people were very satisfied with the event. After making all the foods we sat together and had lunch in the lobby. We talked about food and other stuffs. What a lovely event it was. Here are some pics from the event you can see and imagine how awesome this event was. We were thankful to all the participants and volunteers who came forward to make this event a success.
