11/10,11 Dorm trip to Amanohashidate and Maizuru
This is the first time for many of us to go far away from the city center to explore a whole new different aspect of Kyoto- Kyoto by the sea.
The first destination is Amanohashidate, one of three best views in Japan. We, total 10 residents, manage to get together on a bus 206 which is such full that we can hardly have space between each other😂 The next bus is a long distance two-hour bus which runs directly from Kyoto station to Amanohashidate stop, which is really big help as most of us can sleep well.
Then here we are, Amanohashidate bus stop! Taking cable( or monorail) to the top, the higher we go the clearer the sea comes out. Amanohashidate!!! Of course no one misses taking photo of this beautiful view.
Reaching the top, everyone is so hungry that we all decide to have lunch first before doing “What everyone will definitely do when coming here”- which is shortly “Teiban” in Japanese. Finishing lunch, enjoying funny games, doing Teiban, going down by cable( or monorail), walking along romantic sand road running in the middle of the sea with one side of pine trees and the other side of beach and the sea. Sunny day, clear sky, green pine forest, soft sand beach, breeze wind, romantic couple holding hands together- time just seems to stop then.
